The most exciting thing about these Spanish alphabet letter worksheets is that they are aligned to the 7th grade common core standards for language. These worksheets were designed to help English language learners learn how to form the sounds of the common Spanish alphabet. As an ESL teacher, I am very excited about these new Spanish language teaching tools that will make learning Spanish fun. Students love to solve problems, so using Spanish word search puzzles is a great way for them to learn. These puzzles use the same phonetic spelling algorithm as the Dr. Seuss books so they reinforce what they already know.

The idea was to get the kids to think about two different images. The first image is “mary” and the second is “mother”. In our Spanish vocabulary worksheet, the words used for vocabulary quizzes were “hablar” for nouns and “cherry” for adjectives.
